Ukraine’s NSDC secretary: We want to fully end war by winter

The Ukrainian authorities seek to end the war with Russia before winter.

That’s according to Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, who spoke in an interview with the Report news agency.

"By winter, we want to completely end the war," he said.

Answering the question of whether the war will end with the full restoration of Ukraine’s territorial integrity, including with the liberation of Crimea, Danilov said: "We have a common plan – to liberate all our territories from the terrorists who attacked us. The only question is time. Whether one or more operations will be conducted depends on many circumstances. We will not be limited by time, we will fight for as long as it takes."
