Kherson region comes under enemy fire 80 times, civilian killed

On May 11, 2023, Russian troops attacked the Kherson region 80 times, having fired 339 projectiles.

The relevant statement was made by Kherson Regional Military Administration Head Oleksandr Prokudin on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Russian troops used heavy artillery, the Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), tanks, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and aircraft.

The city of Kherson came under enemy fire four times.

According to Prokudin, Russian projectiles targeted residential areas across the Kherson region’s settlements. A local school, a hospital, the area and buildings of two critical infrastructure enterprises were hit in Kherson.

As a result, one civilian was reported killed and four injured.

Meanwhile, 88 more people have been evacuated from the Kherson region’s de-occupied areas over the past day.
