Two tractors explode on mines in Mykolaiv region, one injured

Yesterday, two explosions of agricultural machinery occurred in the Mykolaiv region, with one person injured. 

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Mykolaiv region reported this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"On May 8, two incidents related to the detonation of explosive devices occurred in the Mykolaiv region - agricultural machinery exploded, and a man was injured," the report says.

Thus, at 18:00 in the village of Vysunsk, Berezneguvata territorial community, in the Bashtanka district, a citizen born in 1984 ran over an unknown object with a tractor during earthworks in a field, causing an explosion. Fortunately, the man was not injured, only the vehicle was damaged.

At 19:10, a similar incident occurred in the Mykolaiv district. Here, a man born in 1969, while working in a field between the villages of Liubomyryivka and Novohryhorivka hit an unknown explosive object with a tractor and exploded. As a result of the explosion, the man sustained a mine-blast injury and was hospitalized.

As reported earlier, inland water bodies in the Mykolaiv region are being demined using underwater drones and hydrographic devices.
