Kuleba once again calls on partners to provide Ukraine with F-16 aircraft

 After the Russian shelling on the night of May 9, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba called for more air defense systems and F-16s to cover the skies together.

The head of Ukrainian diplomacy wrote about this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

“Today, I woke up early in the morning to loud explosions: our air defense was intercepting Russian missiles. I thank partners for providing AD systems. I reiterate my call to increase their numbers and provide F-16s that will work together with ground platforms to close our sky” - Kuleba noted.

As reported earlier, Russia fired 25 Kalibr and X-101/X-555 cruise missiles during two waves of shelling of Ukraine on the night of May 9. 23 missiles were destroyed by the air defense of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in cooperation with the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
