Invaders fire again at areas of Chernihiv region bordering Russia

As of 15:00 on May 8, Russian troops shelled the areas in Chernihiv region another three times.

That’s according to Operational Command North, Ukrinform reports.

From 08:02 to 09:19, six hits, likely fired by a 120 mm mortar, were recorded in the area of Leonivka settlement.

From 10:25 to 11:00, 12 hits, likely barrel artillery, were recorded in the area of Moschenka.

From 11:15 to 11:55, there were 16 hits, likely self-propelled howitzers, were recorded in the area of Buda-Vorob'ivska settlement.

In addition, from 12:04 to 12:15, four artillery rounds were fired targeting the area near Oleksandrivka.

From 12:20 to 13:55, 21 hits were reported, likely barrel artillery, in the area of Moschenka.

"No reports were received of losses among the local population or damage to civilian infrastructure," the statement said.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on the morning of May 8, Russian strikes targeted four settlements in the Chernihiv region bordering Russia, employing mortars and artillery.
