Russian troops shell school, houses in Sumy region at night

At night, Russians fired artillery and mortars at Sumy region, damaging a school and civilian houses and injuring people.

That's according to the Sumy Regional Military Administration on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"At night, the enemy fired four times at the border. 23 explosions were recorded. The settlements of  Seredyna-Buda, Znob-Novhorodske and Nova Sloboda, communities were shelled," the statement said.

The Russians fired on the village of Stara Huta of the Seredyna-Buda community with cannon artillery (20 explosions). The shelling damaged two households and a school building.

"Znob-Novhorodske community: the enemy carried out an air strike on the territory of the community. As a result of the air strike, three civilians were wounded, and non-residential buildings were destroyed.

A mortar attack (two explosions) was recorded in the Nova Sloboda community.

As previously reported, yesterday, Russians fired 16 times at the border during the day. 106 explosions were recorded. The settlements of Krasnopíllia, Velyka Pysarivka, Znob-Novhorodske, Esman, Seredyna-Buda, Nova Sloboda, Bilopillia, Yunakivka communities were shelled.
