Russians shell 18 settlements in Kharkiv region overnight, one killed

The Russian army shelled 18 settlements in the Kharkiv region yesterday, killing a 60-year-old woman.

Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

In particular, Topoli, Kamenka, Krasne Pershe, Fyholivka , Novomlynsk, Kindrashivka, Masiutivka, and other settlements were shelled.

"After 11:30, the enemy attacked Dvorichna village in the Kupyansk district. Unfortunately, a 60-year-old woman died during the artillery shelling. At 18:00, the town of Vovchansk in the Chuhuiv district came under enemy mortar fire. 

There were no casualties or serious damage," noted Colonel Syniehubov.

He reminded that the humanitarian demining of the region is ongoing. Over the past day, the pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service neutralized 87 explosive devices.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, according to Syniehubov, settlements in the Kharkiv region near the border with Russia are subjected to up to 60 enemy attacks daily.
