202 strikes recorded in Lyman–Kupyansk direction in past day

In Lyman–Kupyansk direction, 202 enemy strikes were recorded over the past day. The Armed Forces of Ukraine decimated 50 occupiers.

"In general, Lyman–Kupyansk direction is the second most active zone after Bakhmut section in the area of our responsibility. In particular, the enemy launched 202 strikes from rocket artillery, seven combat clashes took place, 50 occupiers were eliminated and 86 more were wounded in this direction over the day," Serhiy Cherevaty, Spokesperson for the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said during the national news telethon, Ukrinform reports.

Moreover, an enemy infantry vehicle BMP-1, a model that was previously decommissioned, two UAVs, three mortars, and two ammunition depots were destroyed.

As reported, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled more than 50 enemy attacks and destroyed 14 UAVs and five EW stations in the past 24 hours.
