Ukraine’s defense chief shows test drive of Stryker, Cougar armored vehicles

Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov of Ukraine posted a video of a test drive of Stryker and Cougar armored fighting vehicles supplied to Ukraine by its foreign partners.

That’s according to the Defense Ministry’s Telegram channel, Ukrinform reports.

"Armored Strykers and Cougars are now in the skilled hands of the Ukrainian Airborne Assault Forces. They ran a test drive. I am glad that the world’s best soldiers receive the best equipment from our partners. It will bring us closer to victory," Reznikov noted.

He also thanked U.S. President Joe Biden, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, and all Americans for the assistance provided.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi said Ukraine needed Western F-16 fighter jets.

Earlier, speaking at a hearing in the U.S. Senate Armed Forces Committee, the head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine may receive F-16 fourth-generation fighter jets in the future.
