Russian drone strikes residential building in Sumy region, leaving one injured

Russian drone hit a house in the Chernechchyna community of the Okhtyrka district in Sumy region. 

According to Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine stated this on Facebook. 

The attack occurred in the afternoon. The building was partially destroyed and caught fire, and the blast wave damaged windows of neighboring homes. Preliminary reports indicate that one person suffered an acute stress reaction.

Rescuers extinguished the fire and inspected the site of the strike.

As previously reported, earlier on February 15, Russian forces struck a medical facility in the Kovpakivskyi district of Sumy region with a drone, causing damage.
