Russia deploys more Kalibr carriers in Black Sea, bringing total salvo to 24 missiles

The Russian Federation has increased to four the number of missile carriers deployed off the Crimea coast, which brings the total salvo of Kalibr cruise missiles to 24.

That’s according to Operational Command South, Ukrinform reports.

"The enemy continues the maneuvers of their naval group in the Black Sea, including by increasing the number of missile carriers. As of 13:00, four missile carriers - two warships and two submarines - have already been spotted on combat duty. The total volley of Kalibr-type missiles can currently reach 24," the report says.

Along the front line, the increased number of reconnaissance flights by Russia’s unmanned aerial vehicles is being recorded. Ukraine’s Defense Forces are effectively working to engage these targets. In the Kherson direction, three such UAVs were downed over the previous day.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, as of the morning of March 4, there were three Russian missile carriers deployed in the Black Sea.
