Rescuers searching for people trapped under destroyed building in Zaporizhzhia

In Zaporizhzhia, rescuers are searching for people trapped under the rubble of a multi-story residential building destroyed by a Russian missile strike.

This was reported by the main department of the State Emergency Service in Zaporizhzhia region, according to Ukrinform.

"As of 21:00, at the site of a missile attack on a residential building in Zaporizhzhia, works are ongoing to search for people under the rubble and dismantle dangerous structures of the building. In order to illuminate the place of emergency and rescue work, the employees of the State Emergency Service have additionally installed two lighting towers," the report reads.

In total, 198 employees of various services and 52 units of equipment were involved in the work, including 126 rescuers, 30 units of equipment and 2 canine squads from the State Emergency Service.

As reported, on the night of March 2, Russian troops launched a missile attack on a residential building in the city of Zaporizhzhia.
