The Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, to give Ukraine nearly 100 Leopard tanks

The Netherlands, together with Germany and Denmark, are planning to supply Ukraine with about 100 Leopard main battle tanks.

This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky during a joint press conference with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte, in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The Netherlands, together with partners from Germany and Denmark, are preparing to hand over 100 Leopard tanks to Ukraine. This is really powerful support for Ukraine," Zelensky said.

The President emphasized that the joint priority of Ukraine and its partners is to speed up as much as possible the supply of this aid to Ukrainian soldiers.

The head of state also thanked the Netherlands for the recent decision to transfer to Ukraine the Patriot air defense system.

He added that he discussed with Rutte other needs of the Ukrainian Army to ensure "protection against Russian revanchism."
