Enemy massing up heavy equipment in Kupiansk direction

There is an ongoing accumulation of Russian military hardware in the Kupiansk direction, which at the moment testifies to the enemy strengthening defenses, not a possible offensive preparation targeting Kharkiv region.

That’s according to Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, who spoke at the national telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"On the front line, in the Kupiansk direction, it is quite hot at the moment. Indeed, we are observing a certain accumulation of Russian military equipment. However, according to our intelligence, this hardware is, first of all, aimed to stop the possible advance of our troops deeper into Luhansk region to liberate our territories. We can talk about the fact that we expect a possible offensive there, an attempt to regain lost positions, but our forces are prepared for any developments," Syniehubov said.

As reported, in Kharkiv region, hostilities are underway in the Kupyansk district, where 29 settlements remain occupied.
