Enemy mortars Chernihiv, Sumy regions: more than 30 hits recorded

Russian troops continue to shell the areas of Chernihiv and Sumy regions close to the Russian border, using mortars.

More than 30 hits were reported on Monday, Operational Command North reported, according to Ukrinform.

"From 9:50 to 10:00, five hits, likely a 120 mm mortar, were recorded in the area of Mostki.

From 10:30 to 10:50, seven hits were reported, previously from a 120-mm mortar, in the area of Sopych.

From 12:30 to 12:40, 20 hits were reported, likely a 120 mm mortar, in the area of Leonivka," the statement reads.

It is noted that there are no casualties or damage reported. No information was received about losses among the local population or damage to civilian infrastructure.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on January 29, Russian invaders shelled nine regions across Ukraine.
