Enemy shells maternity hospital, school, polyclinic in Kherson

The Russian army has shelled a maternity hospital, a school and a polyclinic in Kherson.

Kherson regional governor Yaroslav Yanushevych said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"In Kherson, the Russian army shelled a maternity hospital, a school and a polyclinic. The building of the maternity hospital was damaged. Plumes of smoke began to rise on the fourth floor," the report reads.

There were no patients in the building, only medical workers. According to initial information, no one was injured in the attack.

"There are also no casualties in the school or the clinic either, but the windows and doors of the buildings were broken. Fragments of a Russian projectile hit a gas pipe," Yanushevych said.

On January 23, Russian invaders launched 29 attacks on the Kherson region, killing one person.
