Two communities in Sumy region come under enemy fire

The Russians struck Krasnopillia and Shalyhine communities in Sumy region.

"The Russians shelled Krasnopillia and Shalyhine communities throughout the day," Dmytro Zhyvytskyy, Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

The enemy opened mortar fire on Krasnopillia community, firing four bombs.

Shalyhine community also came under mortar fire. Fifteen 120mm mortar bombs were fired.

In both cases, there were no casualties or damage.

As reported, on January 15, Russian troops launched 44 strikes on the border communities of Sumy region, damaging a school and a kindergarten.
