Russian forces kill two civilians in Donetsk region

The Russian army killed two civilians and injured one more in Donetsk region on January 16.

Pavlo Kyrylenko, head of the Donetsk regional military administration, said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.

"On January 16, the Russians injured two civilians in Donetsk region – Bakhmut and Sieverne. Another person in the region was injured,” he wrote.

He noted that it is currently impossible to establish the exact number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha.

As reported by Ukrinform, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on January 16 repelled Russian attacks near more than 20 settlements in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
