Five civilians injured as Russians strike Zaporizhzhia with S-300 missile

Last night the city of Zaporizhzhia was struck by Russia’s S-300 missile. Five civilians were reported injured, including two children.

The relevant statement was made by Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Head Oleksandr Starukh on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“A 5-storey apartment block was hit by a blast wave as the S-300 missile struck a residential area in downtown Zaporizhzhia. Windows and doors were blown out, and the heat supply system of the building was damaged. Five people received shrapnel injuries, including two children, 9 and 15,” the report states.

Additionally, Russia’s S-300 missile hit a light industry enterprise in the Kushuhum community. A fire broke out in a hangar, where the products ready for sale had been stored. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
