Ukrainian forces hit more than 300 enemy targets over past week

The Armed Forces of Ukraine hit more than 300 enemy targets over the past week.

Brigadier General Oleksii Hromov, Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Department of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, said this at a briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Since January 5, artillery units have inflicted damage on more than 300 enemy objects. Over the reporting period, 54 enemy targets were hit by means of high-precision weapons of the rocket forces,  21 air targets were destroyed by forces and means of the Air Force and air defense forces," Hromov said.

According to him, the situation at the front remains difficult and only bravery and courage allow the Ukrainian defenders to hold their positions.

As reported by Ukrinform, Ukrainian forces eliminated about 113,990 Russian troops in Ukraine between February 24, 2022 and January 12, 2023, including 430 soldiers in the past day alone.
