Two civilians killed in Russia’s shelling of Kramatorsk last night

Last night Russian troops launched a missile attack on the Donetsk region’s Kramatorsk, having caused damaged to several apartment blocks, educational institutions and infrastructure facilities. Two civilians were reported killed.

The relevant statement was made by Kramatorsk City Council on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The aftermath of the night missile attack on Kramatorsk: two apartment blocks, two educational institutions, a city gas authority’s office, postal office, car wash and dormitory were damaged,” the report states.

Two civilians were killed, as they were in a car at the time of the missile attack.

The enemy missile also hit a roadway, and municipal workers are now eliminating the effects.

A reminder that, on January 9, 2023, Russian troops launched 21 strikes on the Donetsk region. Eleven settlements came under enemy fire, and six civilians were reported injured.
