Russian army shells Nikopol district with Grad MLRS, heavy artillery

The Russian army shelled the Nikopol district, Dnipropetrovsk region, with Grad MLRS and heavy artillery overnight. An air raid alert sounded for nine hours.

Valentyn Reznichenko, head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, reported this on  Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"Nine hours of air raid alert, there were Grad MLRS and heavy artillery attacks. The Russians shelled the Nikopol district twice at night. The Marhanets community came under enemy fire. More than 30 deadly shells landed there," he wrote.

People were not injured. However, the Russian shelling damaged houses and a cafe. The details of the attacks are being investigated.

In other districts, the night passed without air raid sirens or attacks.
