Russian troops have struck the Zaporizhzhia region’s city of Orikhiv. Casualties among civilians were reported.

The relevant statement was made by Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Head Oleksandr Starukh on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“At midday, the ‘New Year’s greetings’ from Russians hit Orikhiv. As a result, one person was killed and three injured,” Starukh wrote.

Starukh also posted the photographs, depicting the aftermath of the enemy shelling.

A reminder that Russian troops are continuously shelling the Zaporizhzhia region’s Orikhiv. About 2,500 people are remaining within the Orikhiv united territorial community (prior to the war, a total of 19,200 people lived there).
