Zelensky presents state awards to 95 defenders of Ukraine

President Volodymyr Zelensky has presented state awards to 95 defenders of Ukraine.

The relevant decree, No.903/2022, was published on the president’s website, Ukrinform reports.

According to the decree, for personal courage and heroism shown in the defense of Ukraine’s state sovereignty and territorial integrity, loyalty to the military oath, four defenders were awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi of the ІІ degree and five with the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi of the ІІІ degree.

Also, five defenders were awarded with the order "For Courage" of the ІІ degree, 17 were awarded with the order "For Courage" of the ІІІ degree, and two – with the order of Danylo Halytskyi.

As Ukrinform reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky on December 28 awarded 119 Ukrainian defenders, including two posthumously.
