Situation at front and enhancing air defense: Zelensky holds meeting of Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Staff

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has held a meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief to discuss the operational situation at the front, enhancing of air defense and recovery of Ukraine’s energy system.

This was reported by the president’s press service, according to Ukrinform.

“Reports on the operational situation at the front and possible actions of the enemy in the near future were heard. Participants in the meeting focused on providing units of the defense forces in the hottest sports with weapons and other means," reads the report.

It is noted that the participants considered the issue of enhancing Ukraine's air defense, in particular, for the protection of critical infrastructure facilities.

The Participants also were briefed about the recovery of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure after Russia’s recent missile attack.

According to the President’s Office, the meeting was attended by Minister of Defense Oleksii Reznikov, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi, Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine Oleksandr Lytvynenko, Commander of the Ground Forces Oleksandr Syrsky, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov, and Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak.

Minister of Internal Affairs Denys Monastyrskyi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba, Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction, other members of the Ukrainian government, heads of law enforcement and security agencies were also present at the meeting.
