One person was killed and two more were injured as the Russian forcesshelled a humanitarian aid headquarters in Kherson suburbs.

Kyrylo Tymoshenko, deputy head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Kherson suburbs, Stepanivka village. The Russians shelled the settlement with mortar. Shells hit the humanitarian aid headquarters! A woman died of injuries, two more people are in the hospital," Tymoshenko wrote.

According to him, school, hospital and church buildings were damaged in the shelling.

As reported, a volunteer of the international organization's rapid response unit was killed during shelling in Kherson on December 15.
