Sumy region comes under enemy artillery fire. Houses destroyed

The Russians struck Sumy region, northern Ukraine, with self-propelled guns, destroying houses in two communities of the region.

"Around 01:00, the Russians opened fire on Seredyna-Buda community. Nine strikes from self-propelled guns were launched on two border villages. Three civilian houses were significantly damaged, one of them caught fire after the explosion," Dmytro Zhyvytskyy, Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

Around 02:00, the enemy hit Znob-Novhorodske community with self-propelled guns. Twelve explosions were recorded.

As reported, the Russians fired 226 shells at Sumy region over the past day. Seven communities came under fire. A 69-year-old man was injured in Grad MLRS shelling of Esman community.
