Destruction in Kharkiv region amid continued Russian shelling

In Kharkiv region, the occupiers launched missile attacks on the Kupiansk district. Road surface and railway infrastructure have sustained damage.

That’s according to Oleh Syniehubov, chief of the Regional Military Administration, Ukrinform reports.

"The occupiers are again launching artillery and missile attacks on the Kupiansk district. In Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, the road surface and railway infrastructure were damaged as a result of shelling," Syniehubov said.

According to the report, at around 23:00 on Saturday, S-300 missiles launched by the Russians damaged windows and roofs in five households of the Shevchenkove community.

"Around 03:00 in the morning, from the Russian side came another missile attack on the village of Shevchenkove. There are no casualties," the official added.

He noted that the local authorities continue the voluntary evacuation local residents. Another 185 people opted to flee the embattled area.

"The process of evacuation to safer locations across Kharkiv region continues," Syniehubov says.

In addition, throughout the day, the Russians hit the settlements of the Vovchansk community and the Kharkiv district, as well as the Izium district. No casualties were reported.
