Zaluzhnyi, Milley discuss Ukraine’s military needs, situation on front

In a phone call, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark A. Milley discussed the situation on the front and security risks related to Russian missile attacks.

The relevant statement was made by Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“I spoke with General Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. I have thanked for the significant effort that General Milley, Secretary Austin and President Biden are putting personally into meeting the Defence Forces of Ukraine needs in repelling the russian large-scale aggression. I have shared assessments of the situation on the front line and security risks which are borne by russian missile strikes,” Zaluzhnyi wrote.

Additionally, Zaluzhnyi detailed Ukraine’s requests in weapons and equipment, air and missile defense systems.

Zaluzhnyi assured Milley that, despite the harsh warfighting conditions, Ukraine continues to fight for its Victory.
