“Stabilization measures” underway in liberated Kherson - National Police

The National Police of Ukraine is carrying out stabilization measures in Kherson.

That’s according to the National Police press service’s report on Telegram, seen by Ukrinform.

"About 200 police officers have been deployed in the city. Roadblocks have been set up around and in Kherson. The Kherson Region Police Department continues to document the crimes committed the Russian occupiers," said the chief of the National Police, Ihor Klymenko.

According to the top police official, the main threat at the moment is mass mining of the area.

Ten bomb squads are working to detect and dispose of explosive objects. On Saturday, November 12, one of the police sappers was injured while conducting mine-clearance works in one of Kherson's administrative buildings.

The National Police asks local residents to follow the established rules, move carefully around the city, and not touch suspicious objects.

Citizens who have left Kherson are also asked not to rush back until stabilization measures are completed.

As reported, on November 11, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense reported that Kherson was returning under Ukraine’s control as units of the Armed Forces were entering the city. The only chance for the Russian military to avoid death is to surrender immediately, the statement read.
