Three more bodies of civilian victims found in liberated areas of Kherson region

In the de-occupied territories of Kherson region, law enforcers discovered three more bodies of civilians who were killed as a result of Russian aggression.

This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General, according to Ukrinform.

Tentative reports say the victims were all local residents. Two of them died as a result of Russian troops shelling the settlement. Traces of violent death were found on the body of the third victim.

The bodies were sent for forensic examination. Work is ongoing to establish the circumstances of the crime.

Law enforcement are conducting a pre-trial investigation within criminal proceedings initiated into the violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

As reported earlier, the head of the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on Ukraine, Eric Möse, said that the commission established the facts of the commission of multiple war crimes by the Russian forces in Ukraine.
