Russia deploys Kalibr carrier in the Black Sea

Russian forces keep on combat duty in the Black Sea off the occupied Crimea coast four warships, one of which is a Kalibr cruise missile carrier.

That’s according to the press service of Operational Command South, Ukrinform reports.

"In the Black Sea, the enemy strengthened the grouping of three warships with an additional missile carrier with eight Kalibrs on board. But in the stormy sea, all four vessels remain near the southern Crimean coast: away from Ukrainian weapons, closer to their base points," the statement says.

The press service also reported that the mine threat is increased by stormy weather, but this is more related to the mines floating to the water cut. The grain corridors continue to operate according to the schedule coordinated by the Istanbul Center.

In addition, according to the press service, the situation in Moldova and Transnistria remains stable, despite the attempts of pro-Russian forces to stir up public moods. There were no signs of any offensive groupings being formed in the area.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, seven Russian warships were on combat duty in the Black Sea the day before, among which there was not a single Kalibr carrier.
