Russian air defense system positions, military equipment clusters struck in southern Ukraine

The Ukrainian military have completed 167 fire missions in southern Ukraine, having struck enemy deployment points, logistics objects and transport routes.

The relevant statement was made by the South Operational Command on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The enemy continues defensive actions, leaves checkpoints in the occupied areas, redistributes military efforts, redeploys military equipment convoys, sets up concrete bunkers, strengthens the existing frontiers and sets up the new ones,” the report states.

According to the South Operational Command, counterbattery activities continue. The enemy opens fire along the front line with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), heavy artillery, mortars and tanks. In order to check the positions of Ukrainian forces and adjust fire, Russian invaders actively use reconnaissance drones.

Ukrainian forces launched four strikes on enemy air defense system positions and military equipment clusters, namely those in a covered hangar.

Ukraine’s missile and artillery units completed 167 fire missions, having struck enemy deployment points, logistics objects and transport routes in the temporarily occupied areas.

A total of 32 Russian occupiers were eliminated. One tank and nine enemy armored vehicles were destroyed. Additionally, two Russian ammunition depots were destroyed in the Bashtanka district, near Snihurivka.
