Four civilians injured in Russia’s shelling of Nikopol district

Four civilians have been injured in Russia’s shelling of the Dnipropetrovsk region’s Nikopol district, according to the updated data.

The relevant statement was made by Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council Head Mykola Lukashuk on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“According to the updated data, in today’s shelling of the Chervonohryhorivka community by [Russian] occupiers, which is situated in the Nikopol district, four civilians have been injured. Two men, 68 and 73, a 19-year-old girl and a 69-year-old woman,” Lukashuk wrote.

In his words, all of them received shrapnel injuries. Three people were taken to hospital, and one of them is in critical condition.

Russian projectiles caused damage to five residential houses, household buildings and a gas pipeline.

According to Lukashuk, scheduled blackouts have started in the Dnipropetrovsk region to stabilize the energy system today. Some communities were left without electricity.
