Two districts of Dnipropetrovsk region under enemy fire throughout this night

The Russian invasion forces shelled the Kryvyi Rih and Nikopol districts of Dnipropetrovsk region throughout the night, causing major destruction.

That’s according to the head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Valentyn Reznichenko, who reported the news on Telegram, as seen by Ukrinform.

"The Russians pounded the region all night long using various weapons... Two districts – Kryvyi Rih and Nikopol – came under fire. In the Kryvyi Rih district, missiles hit energy infrastructure. Serious destruction there," the official wrote.

Cities and villages in Apostolivska, Zelenodolska, Shyrokivska, and Sofiivska communities and one of the districts of Kryvyi Rih had their power supplies severed. As pumping stations of local water utilities were also de-energized, these communities saw a few water outages.

Restoration works are ongoing.

A two-story building was obliterated in Kryvyi Rih as a result of the enemy attack. According to tentative reports, no casualties were confirmed. Rescuers and law enforcement are working at the scene.

The Russian occupying forces shelled the Nikopol district all night employing Grad and Uragan MLR systems, as well as heavy artillery. Up to 60 shells targeted the Marhanetska and Chervonohryhorivska communities.

No casualties were reported, while some residential buildings were damaged.

In other areas, air-raid sirens screamed throughout the night, but no attacks were reported. The situation is being reported as calm for the moment.
