Eighteen people rescued from Kyiv building attacked by kamikaze drones

Eighteen people have been rescued from a residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv, where an explosion occurred due to an enemy suicide drone attack.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"A kamikaze drone attack in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital caused an explosion in a residential building. Eighteen people have been rescued so far. According to preliminary information, two residents remain under the rubble," he said.

According to Klitschko, rescue operations are ongoing. Work is underway to put out the blaze and dismantle the rubble.

"We are clarifying if there are any fatalities," he said.
