Liz Truss will request urgent meeting of NATO leaders

UK Prime Minister Liz Truss will request an urgent meeting of NATO leaders over Russia’s missile attacks on Ukraine.

According to Reuters, Liz Truss will also urge other Group of Seven leaders “to remain steadfast in their support of Ukraine”.

"Russian President Vladimir Putin has mobilised more troops and issued nuclear threats following a Ukrainian counter-offensive to retake land in the east of the country. And for our part, we must not waver one iota in our resolve to help them win it," the UK PM said.
