Members of the Special Operations Center "A" of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) have destroyed a Russian Ka-52 helicopter in the Zaporizhzhia region.

According to Ukrinform, the SBU said this in a statement on Telegram.

"A tactical group of our special operations soldiers stayed in forward positions, controlling an area of the likely passage of enemy aircraft. And after three helicopters appeared in the impact zone, one of the Russian Ka-52s made a 'hard landing' as a result of a MANPADS shot," the report said.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 60,430 Russian soldiers from February 24 to October 3.
