Russian invaders commit more than 52,500 crimes in Ukraine - PGO

Law enforcers have registered 52,596 crimes related to Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

The press service of the Prosecutor General's Office said in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.

"Crimes of aggression and war crimes: 36,281 crimes were registered. Of them: 34,944 - related to violation of the laws and customs of warfare, 73 - planning, preparation or initiation and waging of an aggressive war, 31 - war propaganda, 1,233 – other crimes," the report reads.

It is noted that Ukrainian law enforcers also registered 16,315 crimes against national security, of which: 11,298 — related to encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine, 1,728 - treason, 2,489 - collaborative activities, 189 – assistance to the aggressor state, 64 – sabotage, and 547 – other crimes.

As reported, the Prosecutor General’s Office informed that another torture chamber set up by the Russian invaders was discovered in the liberated village of Lyptsi, Kharkiv region.
