Nine of 11 Russian missiles fired at Ukraine on Sunday shot down

On Sunday afternoon, the enemy fired 11 cruise missiles at a number of regions of Ukraine. Seven of them were downed over Dnipropetrovsk region alone.

That’s according to Air Force Command "East," Ukrinform reports.

"On Sunday afternoon, the enemy launched a missile attack on the zone of responsibility of our command. In total, the enemy fired 11 cruise missiles. Units of Air Force Command East shot down seven missiles over Dnipropetrovsk region," the statement reads.

It is added that five of them were Kh-101s, and another two – Kalibr missiles. Two more missiles were downed over Poltava region.

As reported earlier, power outages were confirmed in several regions due to the missile strikes.
