Ukrainian marines kill over 260 Russian soldiers, destroy seven ammunition depots, nine tanks over past week

Service members of the military units of the Naval Infantry Corps Command of the Ukrainian Navy have killed more than 260 Russian invaders and destroyed nine enemy tanks, 17 self-propelled guns, three multiple launch rocket systems and seven ammunition depots over the last week.

According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Navy's press service said this in a Facebook post.

"According to updated data, from August 26 to September 3, 2022, our soldiers destroyed more than 260 personnel, nine tanks, 25 combat armored vehicles (IFVs, APCs), 17 self-propelled guns, two pieces of towed artillery, three MLRS, two mortars, four artillery tractors with ammunition, an artillery tractor, three observation posts, and seven warehouses with ammunition," the press service said.

Between February 24 and September 4, Ukraine's Armed Forces killed about 49,500 Russian soldiers, including 450 on September 3.
