Donetsk RMA shows aftermath of Russian strike on Slovyansk

The Donetsk Regional Military Administration released a video of the aftermath of the enemy strike on the town of Slovyansk on the morning of August 25.

The video is published on the administration's YouTube channel, Ukrinform reports.

It shows apartment blocks without windows and doors, with broken balconies, a funnel in front of the entrance from Russian weapons, few residents who are still in the town and miraculously survived.

"The Russians struck the town today at 04:00. Fortunately, none of the residents of the shelled houses was seriously injured. Local utility services have been working at the site of the shelling since the very morning: they clear away broken glass, hand out construction film to people to at least temporarily cover broken windows," reads the description of the video.

The Donetsk region authorities once again called on residents to evacuate to safe regions.

As reported, the Russian troops are constantly shelling Donetsk region, killing and injuring the population, destroying the civilian infrastructure of the populated localities of the region.

A mandatory evacuation is underway in Donetsk region. By the autumn-winter period, no more than 235,000 residents involved in the defense and maintenance of critical infrastructure should remain, and the rest should be evacuated. Until February 24, 1,670,000 people permanently lived in Donetsk region.
