Kharkiv city is constantly under enemy shelling but it stands strong and fights.

President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote this on Telegram and posted photos of destroyed infrastructure in Kharkiv city, Ukrinform reports.

“Heroic Kharkiv. The occupiers carry out a constant and cynical shelling of the city. They terrorize civilians, destroy houses and infrastructure. But our Kharkiv, like all of Ukraine, knows how to defend itself. Wounded, tired, yet not defeated. It stands strong and fights. And it once again proves to the enemies that they cannot break or defeat our people and our cities,” Zelensky wrote.

As reported, the number of those killed in Russian missile strikes on a residential building and dormitory in Kharkiv on August 17 and 18 increased to 21.

On the morning August 19, the Russian occupiers struck Kharkiv again, hitting three districts of the city.

In its latest intelligence update published on Twitter, the British Ministry of Defense said that Russian troops, by constantly shelling Kharkiv, are trying to restrain the actions of Ukrainian forces so that they could not launch counter-attacks in other directions.
