Six Russian missiles hit Mykolaiv last night – Kim

Last night Russian troops launched six missile strikes on the city of Mykolaiv, having hit a local university and infrastructure facilities.

The relevant statement was made by Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Head Vitalii Kim on Channel 24, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Last night six missiles hit Mykolaiv. We think they were launched with the S-300 systems. Two missiles hit the university, which the mayor tried to save the day before by inviting journalists, so that they could show there were no military inside,” Kim told.

In his words, another missile hit an infrastructure facility, and two cars were destroyed in fire. Russian invaders attempted to hit one more object but missed.

A reminder that, as of August 17, 2022, a total of 307 people affected by the Russian armed aggression were undergoing treatment at Mykolaiv hospitals.
