Almost 41,700 Russia’s crimes registered in Ukraine - PGO

Ukraine’s law enforcement officers have registered 28,423 crimes of aggression and war crimes committed by Russian military in Ukraine since the full-scale Russian invasion started.

The press service of the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office said in a statement posted on its website, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

According to the PGO, Russian military committed 28,423 crimes of aggression and war crimes, including 27,331 violations of the laws and customs of war, 73 cases on planning, preparing or waging an aggressive war, and 28 cases on war propaganda, and other crimes.

Law enforcement officers also registered 13,245 crimes against the national security.

In addition, the suspects in the main cases of the Russian aggression are 624 representatives of the military-political leadership of Russia.

According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, as of August 15, 361 children were killed and 711 were injured in Ukraine due to Russian aggression.

On February 24, Russia launched a new phase of its eight-year war against Ukraine – a full-scale invasion.
