Ukraine’s Armed Forces eliminate about 42,800 Russian invaders

The Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 42,800 Russian troops in Ukraine from February 24 to August 10, including 160 on August 9.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in a statement posted on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

The enemy’s total combat losses included also 1,832 tanks (+5 over the past day), 4,086 armored fighting vehicles (+10), 971 artillery systems (+7), 261 multiple launch rocket systems (+0), 133 anti-aircraft warfare systems (+0), 232 aircraft (+9), 193 helicopters (+0), 3,005 motor vehicles and fuel tanks (+17), 15 warships/boats (+0), 766 unmanned aerial vehicles (+9), 89 special equipment units (+2). A total of 185 enemy cruise missiles (+0) were shot down.

It is noted that over the past day, Russian troops have suffered the highest losses in the Donetsk direction.

On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops are shelling and destroying the key infrastructure facilities in Ukraine, firing at Ukrainian cities and villages with artillery, multiple launch rocket systems and ballistic missiles.
