Russians strike three districts of Sumy region: 149 explosions recorded

Over the past day, August 6, Russian troops shelled Sumy region eight times.

"Yesterday, Russian troops shelled Sumy, Shostka, and Konotop districts. A total of 149 explosions were recorded. The enemy opened fire on the villages of Yastrubene, Volfyne, Pavlivka, Khodyne, Vovkivka, Shalyhyne, Starykove, Pisky," the National Police reported.

According to preliminary data, fire was opened from self-propelled guns, artillery, mortars, automatic grenade launchers, and machine guns. As a result, one private farm was damaged.

The police opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 438 "Violation of laws and customs of war" of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

As reported, this morning the enemy fired at industrial enterprises on the outskirts of Mykolaiv; four explosions were recorded in Kharkiv; hostilities continued throughout the day in Kherson region.
