Russian military equipment spotted in Mariupol driving towards Zaporizhzhia

A large number of Russian military engineering equipment and personnel have been spotted in the temporarily occupied city of Mariupol, driving towards Zaporizhzhia.

The relevant statement was made by Advisor to Mariupol Mayor Petro Andriushchenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Recording a large movement of military engineering equipment and personnel at 02:45 p.m. via Nikopolskyi Avenue towards Zaporizhzhia. Mostly, pontoon crossings. V-marked,” Andriushchenko wrote.

A reminder that the Russian armed aggression caused one of the worst humanitarian catastrophes in Mariupol. The city is practically lying in ruins and has been left without normal power, gas and water supply services. About 22,000 local residents have been killed since the Russian invasion started.
