Russian troops struck Donetsk Region more than 20 times over past day, casualties reported

A total of 54 civilian objects have been destroyed in Russia’s shelling of Donetsk Region over the past day.

The relevant statement was made by the National Police of Ukraine in Donetsk Region, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The police documented 21 strikes launched by Russia against civilians. Those killed and injured were reported. Residential houses, civil infrastructure and crop fields were damaged,” the report states.

Russian troops opened fire on 12 settlements, namely Kramatorsk, Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Kostiantynivka, Hirnyk, Sloviansk, Krasnohorivka, Zoloti Prudy, Verkhniokamianske, Ostrivske, Novomarkove, Yahidne.

Russian invaders fired unguided rockets and R-77 missiles, used S-300 missile systems, multiple launch rocket systems (Tornado-S, Uragan, Grad, Smerch) and artillery.

A total of 54 civilian objects were destroyed, including 36 residential houses (11 apartment blocks among them), school, stadium, Avdiivka Coke and Chemical Plant, market, store, Kramatorsk’s central square, power transmission lines, water tower and two fields.
