Bodies of 46 victims of Russian strike removed from rubble in Chasiv Yar

The death toll from a Russian missile strike on an apartment building in the town of Chasiv Yar, Donetsk region, reached 46.

The State Emergency Service’s main department in the Donetsk region said in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.

"At night, the body of one more victim was removed from the rubble of a destroyed building in Chasiv Yar. As of 08:00 on July 13, the main department’s personnel found and removed the bodies of 46 dead persons from the rubble, including a boy of about 9 years old. Nine people were rescued," the report reads.

More than 465 tonnes of destroyed elements of the building were cleared and dismantled.

As reported by Ukrinform, in the evening of July 9, Russian invaders hit a five-storey apartment building in Donetsk region’s Chasiv Yar with the Uragan MLRS. Two entrances to the building were completely destroyed.
